There is a deadly pandemic in America. It is not COVID, cancer or heart disease… It is that so many hospitals are closing every day, leaving communities without jobs, without medical care, and without hope of being saved in an emergency. Why is something so seemingly absurd happening in the United States itself?
The Epoch Times has produced a documentary titled Flatline: America’s Hospital Crisis.
You can watch it for free here. All you need to do is create an account:

A brief summary:
During the COVID pandemic, many US hospitals were overwhelmed by soaring patient numbers and ran short of staff.
Then the Biden administration forced a vaccine mandate on all health workers and ordered hospitals to fire anyone who did not comply. Otherwise, the hospitals would lose their insurance payments, Medicaid, Medicare…
As a result, about 10% of hospital staff lost their jobs for refusing the vaccine. Many of them were highly skilled and had worked at their hospitals for years.
For some hospitals, already badly short of staff, losing one in ten workers was “the straw that broke the camel’s back”. In the end, they had to shut down entirely.
On top of that, even before COVID appeared, about 200 hospitals across the US (mostly in rural areas) had closed over the past 20 years because of financial trouble.
Today, more than 600 US hospitals (mostly rural) are in financial trouble and on the brink of bankruptcy. That is about 30% of all hospitals in the US.
In the film, you will hear stories from local people who can no longer reach a hospital near home. Sometimes, how quickly you can get to a hospital is the difference between life and death.
Documentary trailer:
Why are Americans getting sicker even though the US spends more on healthcare than any other country? Dr. Casey Means tells how she dropped out in the final year of her graduate medical training at Stanford because her conscience as a doctor troubled her. She and her brother then poured their hearts into answering this question in the video “American doctors: ‘you have to kill to get paid’”
